New Years

I'm not a big celebrator of New Years.

I don't go to parties,

or have friends over,

or even stay up late.

It's just not my thing.

But this year.

Oh, this blasted year.

This has been a pretty awful year for me,

so I am, for the first time since I was a kid,

celebrating the ending of this year,

and looking forward to a new start!
