Getting Ready

I've talked and texted with Mama a couple times now, and it's getting easier.  We'll be leaving as soon as Hubs gets back form his business trip. 

I'm making myself crazy trying to get ready for the trip.

I am not going crazy buying baby stuff.  I just cringe every time I imagine what it would be like if Mama takes baby home and I return to a house full of baby stuff.  I know our friends are super excited, but I'm asking them not to buy anything until I give the all clear.  I've got the very basics, and that's enough for now.

I'm so scared and excited at the same time!

In other news....  We didn't have enough going on this week, we had to fit in an orthodontics appointments!  Princess got braces!

 I don't know why, but they made her look a few years older to me!  My baby! 

The best part of the day is that we also scheduled the REMOVAL date for Mimi's braces!  That's going to be a very celebrated day for both of us!
