This morning as I sat reading on the couch, my phone rang. I looked down and saw an area code I didn't recognize, and answered. As soon as I picked up, the line went dead. So I looked at it again, and saw it was from TEXAS! Texas, where our adoption agency is! The one we're waiting for a call from!!!! With my heart pounding in my chest, I called back.
