The goldfish are for the great barrier reef, the pita pockets are for kangaroos, The fruit by the foot was for measuring how far kangaroos can jump (25-30 feet). The egg was for monotremes, or egg laying mammals, which are only found in Australia. The bread is our version an echidna, and the jelly beans are how big a baby kangaroo is when it's born!
And the bowl is Australia! Blue yogurt ocean, graham cracker sand, and Uluru, or Ayer's rock is an M&M. Eating a continent is great fun!

Faith did a project on the platypus for a homeschool zoo class she was taking. They are really cute.
