Crazy Week

What a crazy week we had! Grandpa Mike stopped by for a few days on his way to Iowa. I was a bad mommy and didn't get pictures. Sorry Grandpa! He showed us a new game, and now we are all addicted! More on this later.

We started our Friday Classes co-op on Friday as well. As I took over the admin. duties this year from Emiley, I had to get everything organized and answer hundreds of E-mails. AAAAHHHHhhhh! Needless to say, it was very stressful. I think things went well Friday for the first day. Everyone seemed to have fun, and the kids played hard all day.

Isaac and Emma are taking 2 band classes each. Isaac is 2nd year sax and added drum this year, while Em is doing 2nd year Clarinet, and added flute. I ran back and peeked in on the first band and laughed to see the enormous flute section. There is a smattering of brass, a few drums, and 8 or 9 flutes all in a row! They are also in art and drama together.

Ellie is in art, recorder and drama. Her best buddy Katie from dance class signed up for co-op this year, so they are together in recorder and art. I can't even imagine trying to get those two to sit quietly and listen while holding recorders or paint brushes! Mac is signed up for a music and movement class, but he'd rather play trains!

I know I will have plenty of time to get good pics of co-op, as we are there ALL day, so keep an eye out.

Next week we add dance classes for the girls and Mac!
