Texas Not Quite Done

Babycakes started this

trip with a sniffle,

which turned into a little cough,

and now into this mama

wishing we'd brought his asthma meds along!

He only uses them when he's sick,

and we were only going to be gone

a few days, so I didn't pack them!

Which brings us to a 3 A.M. steaming shower.

I mean, really, who minds waking up at 3:00

to steam up the kid when you

know you'll be up at 5:00 to fly home anyway?

So, so tired.

So, so glad to be headed home,

and see my other kiddos!
