Procrastination

Do you know what happens

when an old friend,

stops by for a quick visit?

You suddenly see

all the stuff you've been putting off!

Our bookshelves have had boxes of books

sitting in front of them for

more than a month.

I still have four boxes

of random what-do-I-do-with-this-stuff

sitting in the dining room.

And that dining room

is a table,
 
with no chairs,

and has become the impromptu

vacuum storage area.

And losing my mudroom is

having dire consequences

on my shoe storage system,

and therefor my front entry.

It's a good thing she loves me anyway!
