Dead

My laptop has finally gone and taken the plunge.  The only way it will run is if I hold the cord in, VERY firmly, with one hand, as I attempt to type with the other.  If I breathe deeply, blink hard or, heaven forbid, sneeze, it shuts off. 

With no warning. 

Or saving.

Thankfully, Uncle Sam is on his way to save the day, and will be buying me a new one ASAP.
