Mimi's Cello

Mimi has been saving up to buy her own cello for almost a year.  We've been borrowing Big Bill (Yeah, we name all our instruments) and it(he?) works great, so we weren't in any hurry to replace it.  And them more she saved, the more she'd have to spend later, right?

Then there was a cello on Craig's list.  And it was REALLY cheap!  We drove over to check it out, and the owner was so nice.  Once he heard Mimi was buying it with her own money, he started telling her all about it, and knocking the price down.  I wasn't sure if we should buy it, as it was kind of beat up, but it sounded great.  And as it was Mimi's money, I let her make the decision, and she bought it.

It does need a bit of work done, so it's already at the shop, but the fix-it guy assures us we got a steal!

And she's already named it!
