To Bug, or Not to Bug

That is the question!

I've been working on our profile book for a few weeks, which is the book birth moms look at when they are choosing a family.  One of the pages we include tells about our pets.

Milo

                  Daisy

And that is where the ponder lies.  Do we include Becky the Madagascar hissing cockroach or not? Yes, she is our pet, (as are all her babies, although not for long!), but she's an icky pet.  Would a mom-to-be not choose us because we have bugs in the house?  Or would they see that it shows that we support our kid's passions, even if they are unusual.  Would the amount of space needed to explain why we have her (Mac's bug obsession) be better spent on other things?

So, what do you think?

it's fine to be "dog people". it's fine to be "cat people". but i can understand why you wouldn't want to be seen as "bug people". but i love how you encourage individuality in your family.

Sadly, I think I have to say, "No bug." Sorry!
