We had an opportunity to review the firefighter unit from The Old Schoolhouse this week, so we HAD to do our muffin tin to go along! We made pretzel ladders, buildings on fire, had some firehouse chili "dalmatian"cookies.
But the kids all time favorite was when we made fiery fruit salad, the extinguished the fire with "hit me". Hit me is what we call the kind of whipped cream that comes in a can. Not so healthy, but great for putting out fires!This week had lots of opportunities for kid participation. They made the ladders, the fruit salad, and the buildings, and of course the hit me!
