If I Only Had A Brain.....

Sometime between Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning, I lost my brain.

And by that I mean my calendar. I call it my second brain, because my first brain is a bit leaky, and it looses stuff. I have (had) a nice little portable calendar that I keep (kept) our appointments, lists, notes, and other miscellaneous stuff in. This loss means that any appointments I made with you will not be attended (well, not by me anyway), any birthday gift ideas I had for you are gone, and I could only remember half of my grocery list today. We ate corn, new potatoes and cucumbers for supper tonight, because I forgot the meat. (Hurray for vegetarian meals!!)

My kids think it really funny that mommy lost her mind, but they still helped me look for it. I even offered a reward!

I bought a new one today, because that means that as soon as I fill this one in, I will find the old one. Every time Mac looses his shoes, we look for weeks, and as soon as I buy new ones, the old ones show up, so it should work for my mind too, right?

In the mean time, let me know if we had plans.....or I'm not gonna be there.

I have a portable brain, too. It's labeled Carri's Brain. One time I left it at the library, and the librarians got such a kick of having a volunteer call and say that my Brain was at the library. :) I aim to make people laugh.

I'm pretty sure you had planned to come over and clean my house, mow my grass, and restock my cupboards. Tuesday, I think. At 1:30! :-)

Hi there. Can you give me a link on what program you use for homeschooling. Still wavering if I will need to take that route. I am a little scared to jump in and do this but would be interested in checking out the program you are using. Thanks:) Shawnda
