When we got home this afternoon, there was a package waiting on the porch for us.....full of bugs! We ordered ladybug eggs, a praying mantis egg case and a worm farm. We ordered a hissing cockroach and big snails, but they are coming later.
Our very nice friend Jamie found a teeny tiny snail, and brought it to us this morning at the park, so we have 4 bug houses going!
See the little walnut looking thing in Mac's hand? It's a mantis egg case. It has up to 100 baby praying mantises in there! And, as they eat bugs, we must breed fruit flies to feed them!
