Physics Fun and History on the Run

We stopped by a park, found at random, to run off some energy, and it was SO cool! I have never seen a playground like this one. It was a physics lesson you could climb on! We learned about screws, planes and gravity, all while exercising our bodies!

After lunch with Grandma, we went to a living history farm. I used to visit this when I was little, and the kids love to go too. This is where Isaac got to milk a cow when he was 6. He was so impressed that the milk was warm,as all the milk he had ever touched was cold! Sadly, most of the animals were gone, but the buildings were fun to see, and it was a hands on connection to the Little House on the Prairie books the girls are reading too.
