Bugged

Mac and I got to attend an awesome event at the local university.

It's called Bugfest.

Yeah, bugs.  Aaaaaaalllllllll day.

We watched a bee swarm,

and learned how queens are made,

 Did you know that termites will follow a line in ink?

 and there are more beetles that any other kind of creature in the world?

 and that Mac would like a new pet?

They had a drawing to win a Madagascar Hissing Cockroach,

but since we've been there and done that,

we chose not to sign up.

Luckily, the friends we went with did,

and they won!

The kids were jumping up and down and squealing with excitement.

The mom?  Squealing for a different reason!
