Tom Sawyer Lives

I have a little Tom Sawyer living at my house!

Every Saturday we do a major house cleaning.

The kids pick 2 jobs off the chores list.

Unlike their daily chores,

which they do to contribute to the family,

These are paid chores.

This morning I heard Princess negotiating with Mac

To have him do her chore,

The chore she gets paid a dollar to do.

She knows he's anxious to buy a new Lego set,

and offers to "let" him do it for her,

And she will give him fifty cents to put in his Lego fund!
