History Fair 2013

One of my kid's all time favorite homeschool activity is the history fair.

It's a chance to dress up in costume,

run wild,

and maybe,

just maybe,

learn something.

It's almost Halloween!

 Princess was Cleopatra
 Buddy was Napoleon
Mac was a samurai
And Mimi did two boards, J.S. Bach
and women pirates.

She picked the women pirates because the subject was fascinating,

and Bach so she could play the cello instead of giving a speach

during the presentation part of the evening.

Here's the group shot.

Forty kids did boards, and covered from Goliath to Ruby Bridges.

That's a lot of time traveling!

And Babycakes?
He had fun too!
