Summer Challenge

This year I gave each of my kids a challenge for the summer.

Buddy's challenge is to ride his bike to the library and back (3 miles).

Mimi's is to learn to ride her unicycle.

Princess is going to ride her bike to the store buy something, and ride home.

Mac is going to finally get rid of the training wheels.

When they complete their challenges, they will earn some "Lego bucks" so they can buy the new Lord of the Rings Legos that they've been drooling over for the last few months.

I did have to make a rule that no one could get their reward until after Mac finished his, because otherwise he'd surf on the tails of the others and play with their Legos while never finishing his own challenge. 

If all the kids get theirs done, they can combine their rewards and get a BIG set, which really got them motivated!
