How to Make an Apple Pie and See the World MTM

 The last two weeks we rowed (did a literature based unit study) on "How to Make an Apple Pie and See the World" by  Marjorie Priceman.  This is a sweet story about a young lady who needs to collect the ingredients to make her pie because the store is close, so she travels the world to get them. 

Our tin had cheese buses, ham trains, an orange boat, a cow and chicken(don't tell them it's really a duck!), "trees" , eggs and apple pie, of course!  This was a totally fun unit for all of us.  We learned about apples, new places and cooking.  We even painted with apples!  We got lots of fun lapbook pieces and activities from Homeschool Share.
