Contained

As we pulled up to my kids favorite Colorado toy store, we notice the distinct lack of cars in the parking lot. We were an hour early!  That's what we get for not paying attention to the fact that the van clock doesn't automatically switch when we cross time zones.  So, we cruised around the parking lot looking for somewhere to hang out, and the only one open was The Container Store.  My kids were less than thrilled at the prospect of spending an hour in there, but off we went.  And of course, with my kids, it became an adventure!

As we entered, the kids gaped, and Buddy said "You didn't say it was a store filled with Lego storage!", and went off exploring.  As we cruised the office supply isle, my kids each picked up a handful of tiny containers and asked what they were supposed to be for.

I told them they were for holding paperclips, rubber bands and desk stuff.  Then Buddy said "Or, if you were a mad scientist...."  and the ridiculousness began.  This little container was for eyeball storage, that one for frog livers,  which was big enough to hold brains?  giggling the whole time.  As we walked away, I noticed the college aged girl high on a ladder, paused in her stocking to gape at us.
So I said to her "Aren't you glad we came down YOUR isle?".  And she smiled and said "Yes, you made my day!"
