Family

Mike was heading to Iowa for a memorial service for his grandma, and at the  VERY last minute, the kids and I joined him.  It was a special time for the kids to see their cousins

 And for new cousins to get to know each other.  Mike met some cousins he'd never met, and we passed the babies all around:

One of the cousins we met for the first time has a little guy they adopted last year, and it was so fun to chat about how things worked for them.  They were so encouraging, and wanted to keep in touch so they could see our new baby.  Who knew adoption was a family trait?!
