We had our last home study visit this week. You can't imagine the relief! It was kind of daunting answering all her questions. A bit like therapy, honestly, with questions about our childhoods, how we were parented, and lots of personal stuff. Now we are waiting for her report, then we get started writing our portfolio. When a friend asked me where we were in the process, I told her step 298 of 300. That's not true, it just feels like we are this close to being done. And by done I mean done with paperwork, because after the paperwork comes the actual waiting!
Can a person truly be excited to start waiting?
