He's a Poet, and He Didn't Know It!

Buddy has been learning about poetry this semester.  After reading the poem The Eagle by Tennyson, he had to write a poem using a simile and personification.  It also had to include end rhymes and be in triplet form.  This is what I got:

On mountain aflame the dragon stood,
Like a great sentinel, on the lookout for food,
While watched by a man, face hidden by hood.

The man stepped out in front, the beast to fight,
He displayed his great and powerful might,
And the beast promptly set his clothes alight!

What a goof!
