Color Week!

After our little experiment in color sorting last a few weeks ago, I decided to throw together a quick unit study on the fine are of color mixing.  We used these books:

mostly because I already had them, and spent a whole week making colors!  Mac took several very colorful baths with Crayola Tub Tints.  These are super fun, don't stain, and are a great teaching tool.  Plus, they kept him busy while I gave the bathroom a thorough cleaning!

He sorted a wide variety of cereal and candy, thanks to the recent holiday, and made his siblings very jealous.

And just to keep the dentist from having a stroke, he ate healthy stuff too!

While he had a great time, he still can't remember which colors combine to make what.  Oh well!  Now we can do it again next year!
