"Why are all the eggs dead?" That's what Mac kept asking. So, I told him again, and again (and again!)that these eggs do not have baby chicks in them, that the ones from the store just don't grow chicks., but he kept asking!
So we re-read our chicken book, every night this week, and yet he asked again and again (sigh!).......and again, "Why are all our eggs dead? And then I figured it out. Died.......Dyed . NOT the same thing!
