A Quick Trip

So, it turns out that pediatric neurology is THE career choice to get into!

See, it started with shaky hands. You know, the kind you see old people have. Only it's a little scarier in a 13 year old. It came and went, mostly when he was tired or stressed, and now it's pretty constant, so we called for an appointment. The doc ran some blood work, was concerned about his "radical diet". Isaac's been gluten and dairy free for 3 years. It has really helped his autism spectrum-ness, but isn't "medically proven", so is called radical. Turns out he's getting all the vitamins and minerals he needs, and in the correct quantities. I felt like sticking out my tongue, fingers in ears, but my maturity won out, so I just nodded wisely at this news.

The next level is a quick trip to a neurologist, and that's where we're stuck. At the quick part. When I called for an appointment, I was told the soonest we could get in was SEPTEMBER 1st! It's a good thing it's not important, right?

Craziness...Can we all try to call for you & set up an appointment? There's power in numbers, isn't there??
